MOB RULES To Film New Video

April 6, 2009

German metallers MOB RULES will film a video for the song "Astral Hand" on April 18 at Jahnhalle in Nordenham, Germany. Directing the clip will be Ronald Mattes from ROAX Film, who also worked with the band on the "Black Rain" and "Last Farewell" videos.

"Astral Hand" comes off MOB RULES' new album, "Radical Peace", which will be released later in the year via SPV/Steamhammer. The CD is currently being recorded at Bazement Studio with longtime engineer Markus Teske (VANDEN PLAS, SPOCK'S BEARD, OASIS). The band previously stated about the new material, "Beside the known MOB RULES qualities, the new album will hold some surprises and unexpected things in store. One secret can be revealed: the six Northern Germans have written the longest song of their career so far and will amaze you with a real melodic metal pamphlet that lyrically deals with a very exciting up-to-date subject."

MOB RULES' latest album, "Ethnolution A.D.", was released in Europe in October 2006. Produced by Markus Teske, "Ethnolution A.D." marked the recording debut with the group of guitarist Sven Lüdke (ex-MURDER ONE) and bassist Markus Brinkmann.

"Unholy War" live at 2007's Magic Circle Festival:
